Warning!!
You might want to go pee, run a few errands, get the kids a movie to watch or grab a soda, this is a REALLY long post.
No complaining at the end, I warned you!
INSPIRED ....To Say the least!
We got to the show around 10:00 after having the most amazing breakfast at a cute little french cafe called "Madeleines" in Spokane.
We waited in line for about 30 minutes and then we walked into SHEER madness.
I am not kidding, not even an ounce of kidding here girls.
I have never seen so many people in so many different directions all in one place....it was almost overwhelming.
And to be honest, cause this all I am lately, I am not really a CROWDS person, neither is the pool man so maybe he has rubbed off on me over the years.
However, I was here to shop, so let the fun begin, with Lisa Souers .
Her jewelry is AMAZING and when I say amazing I mean it is out of this world cool!
And, her vintage finds are even more AMAZING!
She might be my new best friend, however she doesn't even know my name!
Heh, heh.
Miss Sara, Jeanne and Jackie making some early morning purchases!
Those large #'s you see above were a real hit, I think she sold every last one of them....
I guess I could have walked onto the plane with one as my carry on luggage...
However, the propeller plane we took to Portland on the way home would not have fit a large # 3, it merely fit Sara and I.
Therefore, i just left some drool over these babies!
Oh, and don't mention Propeller and plane in the same sentence to Sara, it freaks her out just a wee bit! :)
(secretly it did me too, but shhh, don't tell anyone!}
These are hard to see but they are the Farm Chicks necklaces, how cute are they hanging off this vintage clothes line and attached with clothes pins.
Every display was put together with so much creativity, a real love for Vintage and handmade treasures.
I was in HEAVEN!
From old cowboy boots....
To vintage baby buggies...
To old scales, tool boxes, baking tins, and Ball jars.
And, I cannot forget the HUGE table in the middle FILLED to the brim with vintage stamps.
My heart raced.
I didn't buy any.
What?
I know.
I stink....
Now here.
Here my dear friends, lies one of the most Fabulous spaces at the show.
I need to take a moment of silence.
I need to take a moment of remembrance to collect myself.
Hold please.
Ok, I feel better.
This here lies the booth of the "The boys of Barn House".
And I wanted to take 10 of those amazing topiaries above home with me.
And, I wanted to steal the display cabinet below with all of the vintage goodness inside.
I refrained for fear of breaking something.
That was all that stopped me.
Really.
Do you see the pile of brushed to the right on the photo below?
No click...click on the photo to enlarge.
Yes, Miss Sara (or do I call her Sadie Olive, she is pretty famous, ya know!) bought every single brush there...
Yup. and a few other things, like a peacock feather.
Yes you read that right...a peacock feather!
I am sure she will have some photos of ALL the treasures she came home with including the peacock feather!
Their booth had to be hands down the most elegant and amazing booth there, and of course I couldn't maneuver my way through all the peeps to get a full shot of the whole thing.
Sorry charlie.
But, trust me it was B~E~A~U~tiful.
Filled with burlap & ticking striped pillows galore!
I think Amy and Kasey each took one home!
And, I was smitten with the teenie tiny terracotta pots and all the live greenery.
I didn't buy any of them.
What?
I know.
I stink....
Everything was so PERFECT, from the goodies, to the lighting of the booth to the Boys themselves!
I think the girls had to drag me away...I found my way back though...oh yes I did and I bought something...which in the end happens to be my FAVORITE treasure I found at the show!
Add a little arabesque here, with a plie of course.
We moved on.
Moving along to this adorable vintage bike. I wondered if the girls would notice if i started riding it around the event, but I thought I might embarrass them slightly, so I declined my initial thoughts....and just took a photo.
And, we ventured on.
WHOA, daddy I could have walked away with this stack of suitcases.
Every single one of them...
I love me some vintage train cases, but you already knew that, huh?
I didn't buy any.
What?
I know.
I stink....
Treasures.
Trea~sures.
And. even. more. treasures.
I loved these old Urns.
The grey one called to me.
I didn't buy any.
What?
I know.
I stink....
As I sit here and add photos, I am seeing all kinds of goodies I didn't notice at the show...
Like that YELLOW 36 right there, too cute!
Tons of pillows.
Architectural pieces.
Fantastic Furniture.
And did I mention pillows?
No...
Hmm...strange I thought I had.
I didn't buy any though?
What?
I know.
I stink...
And, then we come to another one of my favorite booths!
The Queen of Tarte
Her booth was romantic, whimsical, amazing and filled with vintage goodness!
***sigh***
There is Sara making a couple purchases and Cindy (queen of tarte, herself) is obliging!!
I ordered one of her amazing aprons...to be shown in another post!
And, she could be my new best friend, and No she doesn't even know my name.
Shame, huh?
Look how cute her booth looks!
Here is where I have to insert the saying, "I should have bought it when I saw it"...there was the sweetest little treasure I so should have bought...
I e-mailed Cindy to see if perhaps she didn't sell it, my fingers are crossed that she didn't! :)
Can you please cross your too?
Thanks.
She is so creative and I could have stayed here all day wandering through her booth!
However, we had been shopping for 6 hours and our feet were starting to hurt!
Not to mention we had another event to get ready for, yup we got a special invitation to a Part~e!
Of course I have a few photos of that AM~AZING event as well...
Stay tuned!!
See you soon girls!
Muwahhh!
Oh and by the way...
Heather
&
Kacey
You are the proud new owners of some adorable tea towels!!
Bye Bye for now~
P.S. That might have been my longest post in history & here i am adding a P.S.!
To think I wasn't even going to take any photos or bring my HEAVY camera!
Shame on me...!
Tisk tisk... :)
