When I have too much swirling around in my mind...
When I just can't shut my mind off at night...
when I can't formulate the right words into a complete sentence....
When silence in the car is absolute torture....
I turn to music....
Lately, music has moved me in so many ways. I have uploaded loads of new to me songs onto my ipod and at night I have been falling asleep with sweet lyrics that express my heart in ways I cannot streaming through my ears.
Music turns off my thoughts and allows me to feel a certain peace I am longing for lately.
"Music speaks what cannot be expressed"...
There is a lot going on in this little world I call my own...
Here's to hoping I can finally find peace I have longed for deep down in my soul.....
Blessings

p.s. Here are some of my new favorite songs:
JJ Heller ~ Where I Land {she has so many great songs}
Gotye~ Somebody that I used to know
Matt Nathanson- Sooner Surrender
Jimmy Eat World~ Hear You Me

Hello friend...hope life isn't too complicated. Music is definitely salve to the soul. I can't tell you how many times it spoke right to my heart, like it was written just for me.

I am going to have to look those all up! I have a soft spot for Jimmy Eat World! The song "Middle" got me through my last little bit of college! I can't imagine a world without music!

Music does soothe the soul indeed! When the mornings are hectic, I turn on classical music in the car & take a deep breath.
I'm so happy to be visiting your lovely blog. I wanted to let you know I just made a butterfly garland using your tutorial in the Romantic Country magazine from last spring. I loved your article in that issue!
I just posted the garland I made on my blog.
It's nice to 'meet' you Tara. I'll be back to visit,
Susan
