It has been a challenging week around our home, as our whole family got hit with the stomach flu starting last Friday.
One by one we each got it, and we even managed to pass it to my mom...ugh! Needless to say there has been sleepless nights, cranky kids and lots of well let's just say...cleaning up to do...not one of my favorite things especially when the cleaning up includes a seagreass rug...
I saw this sweet little "playhouse" and besides thinking it is the cutest thing ever...I really just want to order it, set it up in the backyard {or the living room} and use it as an escape of sorts from the sickies that have invaded our house.
I could fill it up with all things that bring me comfort and maybe just paint my toes, read a few magazines and perhaps daydream a bit.... I think this little tent would just make any ordinary day a wee bit better!
After all, it has pom pom trim...which makes my heart pitter patter! I wonder if I could fit a tiny Chandelier in there as well? hmmm....
Hope your week is treating you well...and the sickies have managed to stay out of your Christmas homes!
I also wanted to say "thank you" for all the comments on our house dolled up for Christmas. I have to admit it can be a little nerve wracking putting yourself out there like that amongst so many talented women, but you all made me feel right at home! Thank you for that from the bottom of my heart!
Blessings,

A chandelier would be the 'perfect' touch.
Sorry to hear you were under the weather. We all had fevers, but thankfully none of the other stuff.
*On a side note*
I was watching a movie the other night, which reminded me....I am convinced that the reason you seldom show your purdy face around here is 'cause you are really Kate Hudson posturing as Blondiensc.
Just so ya know you've been outted! ;)

I have that playhouse "favorited" on Etsy as well! Makes me wish my kiddos were little again :(
I will day dream with you and pretend we are hanging out in there sipping on our mini teacups, eating crustless sandwiches on a cute little table with ribbons in our pony tails :)
XOX!!

That is just the most gorgeous playhouse I have ever seen!!
Do you think my husband would believe me if I said I needed it for my 18 and 23 year old daughters???? :)

Miss Tara ~
Man, that playhouse is CUTE. Holy cow! Let's go halfsies and I'll join you inside for a champagne toast. :) I am sorry you guys have been sick. Somehow, everyone over here has made it through unscathed. So far. Fingers crossed!
Your house tour was really pretty. I have placed my etsy order for the tootsie trucks...so adorable for the boys' rooms at Christmas time. Don't you just love decorating? I so enjoy the spirit it brings to my home; even more now that I have been into vintage style for the past 4 years.
Let's get together in the New Year. I still have a book with your name on it!
xoxo Amy

You're crazy...saying you were nervous for your house to be out there "amongst all those talented women"...YOU are one of those talented women!

I feel the same way you do sometimes...putting myself out there. There is such talent and variety, I always hope I fit in SOMEWHERE!!
Love the little playhouse! I would have been giddy to have had that as a child! It would still make a great hideaway!
Sorry about the flu bug...better now than in a week. I remember those days when my kids were younger...down, one by one like wounded soldiers. The I was usually the last to get it and no one took care of me!! lol!
Happy Holidays!
XO,
Jane
