Good Morning sugar plums, and happy Tuesday!
I am going to be honest here...this little fella has sucked the life out of me, from morning sickness, to migraines, to spotting, to bed-rest, to feeling like I can't get up in the morning to go to work because I am literally exhausted, and leading into gestational diabetes and not being able to eat what I want (which can make me cranky and tired) to being so big at 35 weeks that I honestly haven't been myself. Some days I want to cry and some days I want to laugh hysterically at the thought I once had that being pregnant one more time would be a breeze like my first.
But I don't want to sit here on my rump and complain, I don't want to feel depressed which I did for many months through this pregnancy as hormones over took me. I know there are so many women out there that would give anything for a baby and well for me to complain would be down right selfish.
So through these last three weeks of pregnancy I vow to enjoy each day, to treasure the movements I feel in my belly, to pray that each week he is getting stronger and soon we will meet him face to face...and our oldest punk will know what it means to have a little brother (whether he likes it or not)...
We took these photos when I was 32 weeks...so you can imagine just how much bigger I am at 35 weeks!
I basically roll out of bed, waddle down the hallway to the bathroom in the morning and stand in front of my closet with puffy eyes and swollen feet trying to find clothes that will still work with this giant belly I am supporting!
At this moment he weighs 6 pounds, 8 ounces, he is 85% on height, 74% for his belly....and wait for it....
95% for his head....Goodness....95%.... I had to reconfirm that with my OBGYN a few times and then I had to make sure he really thought it was a good idea that I had him naturally....I struggled to get my first son out, went through 36 hours of labor...and he was only 6 pounds 13 ounces.
I am going to end this post with pray for me...
I may just literally break in two delivering this little fella!
Hugs and kisses from this momma to you!
P.S. No sea animals were harmed in these photos...
P.S.S. Yes, I know I need a hair cut, but I can't make myself go and sit in a chair for two hours to get it done...

you look absolutely beautiful ~ only a few more weeks to go!

Oh Tara, you don't look huge! You carry your babies right out in front, look at your legs...skinnier than mine that is for sure! Your description all along exaggerated how you really look, cause you look beautifully pregnant to me, model like material I say! Good luck with the delivery...95%...wow.

Tara! You are a doll my dear :) Seeing you makes me wanna have a baby in my belly!!
And dont fret about the 95% head....my daughter was in the 97% percentile!! She was born with a 15 1/2" head!! Not to mention that she was also 9lb 10 ou. She started life in 3month old clothes. Seriously. I only gained 35 lbs with her and lost it all within 2 months (she was a big boobie drinker;)
Your new lil punk is going to be strong and healthy. I mean come on, look at the all the trouble he has already been giving you - hehehe
XOX
ps - luv the last pic silly goose ;)

1 - Your hair looks fine!
2 - You are looking really good, and
3 - You have every reason to complain and whine a bit . . . as long as you realize it's all temporary, and well, well worth it!

you look beautiful! I got that way with all 5 of mine... then remember how it felt to hold your first little punk for the first time and suddenly you forget all of that stuff. Our brains are marvelous things other wise I'm sure we would never have populated this planet like we have!
That being said I'm going to finish as I started... you look BEAUTIFUL!!! xoxo

Hi Tara, I hear ya on the second pregnancy. I was sick the whole time. But the good news is that you only have a few weeks left. Sending hugs and prayers,

Tara, so wonderful of you to check in with all of us! You look gorgeous, no matter how you feel, girlfriend! Look at that gorgeous belly of yours! I know you can get that little punk out naturally, no problem. My second was 9 lbs 2oz. and she did damage my tailbone on the way out, but I recovered from that in about 6 weeks, no problem :). (She's been athletic from the moment she came out, did a push-up right there on the bed I gave birth in when the midwife examined her, stood up in her crib at 5 months and was walking at 8 months)

Oh, my love, you look fantastic! I mean, you look like you swallowed a watermelon, but that's how you're supposed to look. ;) Tee hee! I remember those last 3 weeks. Anticipation, frustration, joy, and fear all in one. Generally fear of splitting in two. 3 MORE WEEKS!! Just keep repeating it.
You can do this, my friend. You will rock it out!

You look gorgeous! And I know what you mean about not being able to go to the hair salon~it is just too uncomfortable! You will want the alone time anyway when the baby is here!

Oh but look at you! It's all right in your belly...your arms and legs still look tiny. WHAT?? No fair! I looked like a beached whale. Not even kidding that I couldn't get my jeans past my knees for 6 months after my deliveries. My face was soooo swollen and puffy that my nose was flat--FLAT. It was a miracle I could breathe. SO with that said don't you feel sorry for ME??...HA! Just kidding. I think you are adorable. Those last weeks are unbearable. But it will be over before you know it and life will move on with that sweet one. Wish I was there to give him a squeeze. So good to see what's going on. Thanks for the pics.

I just gave birth to my fifth baby and can so relate to your pregnancy woes, the last few weeks are so incredibly hard! Good Luck getting through and birthing another baby. You can do it!

You look terrific and just enjoy every moment...believe me someday you will wake up and your small ones will all be teenagers. You will relish the days when they were just a snug little bug in your tummy...its that little something that you as the mom get to enjoy all by yourself!
