Fond of my pool man, our two little punks, ruffles, pink, texture, vintage treasures, and organization. On occasion I might be caught frolicking in our little beach town, rambling incessantly or tripping in my heels. I believe that the happiest girls are the prettiest, and I am on a quest to one day be a full time stay at home momma!

I love, love, love it! Score on that price, too! I really like the handles the way they are, but what about taking some cream or white ribbon and making ribbon handles for the bottom....I don't know...maybe it would be too hard to open like that...anywho, love it and have a blast at FC! I wish I was going. Oh, and I haven't forgotten about your package...I promise, it's coming!

xoxo,
Adrienne

What a steal of a deal! I adore her. She cleans up nicely. :)

The dresser looks so pretty, you and the pool man did good!!!! I am very excited for Farm Chicks this year, hope to see you there!!

What a cutie patootie she turned out to be! I too am diggin on the wood top. Good choice girlie :)
Ooohh and the drawers - they resemble beadboard...drool. Lovin the curvy numbers on the drawers too! Did you free hand the numbers, or is it a stencil?

Take a bow and a curtsy girlfriend....tada!

XOXO

amazing job on your dresser...she looks beautiful.

congrats on your 400th post...whoo-hoot~

drooling....

oh my! Blondie - you've out-done yourself! I love the numbers, the mismatch pulls - genius, Love.

& if you see my sister at Farm Chicks give her a hug for me - she'll be the one with two kids (boy and girl) she looks like Rachel McAdams (yeah, she's gorgeous) & her little boy is all cowboy. Mrs. Brown's the name.

She's a doll.

Hope you have a wonderful time there - totally wish that I can't go. :( Take lots of pics!

Hugs, The lady

ohh, you girls are so sweet, by golly. I think I need a Hoobie Lobbie by me though, I hear they have some great knobs and handles for cheap...!!

For those who asked, the Stain is "Gel Stain" from Lowes in "Oak". The numbers are rub on numbers I had in my drawer. And the paint was a custom color I had matched to a sign a while back!

thank you again for your sweet comments!!

It is so cute and great price! I wish I could find a dang dresser for $15.00. I like the way you stained the top and painted the rest :)

love it.
love it.
love it.
and i'd love a bogo at anthro too...im going junk hunting soon...hope i get lucky too...wait, that sounded bad.

happy thursday

♥rebecca

you did an amazing job restoring this!! love the color & the hand-painted numbers! :]

Love the turquoise! Oh, and I'm sure the poolman appreciated the bit of stained wood. Right? I like to play up how I left that for Jason because I knew that it would make him happy to see the natural wood. ;)

I love it, what a great piece. It would be perfect for a baby girl *wink*wink*. I love the anthro pulls, but I also really like what you did with it. Take Care sweetie : ) Carrie

oh YOU are the boss my dear
YOU!!
love what you've done with the dresser
& the love note to anthro...too funny xo

Tara, it's fabulous! That color is lovely & the stained top is the perfect touch. You should go into business, girl!

wonderful transformation.
nicely done tara!

So very glad you didn't pass up this beauty. You've made her fabulous!

Love the color and the price! Gotta love those thrift shops! What is Farm Chicks? The antique show in Washington? Sounds like fun! I have picked up some more items from Urban Barn...got to stay away from that place, it is getting addicting! I should be posting them sometime...well hopefully sometime soon...I have been lagging on the postings, but no one knows because no one looks, so I don't feel so bad. Your BFF Stephanie

your dresser is gorgeous! love the color too, it's really pretty! enjoy the weekend!! xo susan

Hello sweet Tara - I think your dresser makeover is fabulous. Love the color. Love the stain on top. Love the numbers. Love the old drawer pulls {sticking tongue out at Anthro}. You did a great job! Can't wait to see your treasures from Farm Chicks!

Blessings,
Marie

This turned out amazing Tara! I like the look of the bare wood on the top ~ very nice! And I also really like the mixed knobs. Great work lady :)

Pretty dresser and I love the color you chose for it.

Any girl looks better w/ a little paint and polish!!
