Fond of my pool man, our two little punks, ruffles, pink, texture, vintage treasures, and organization. On occasion I might be caught frolicking in our little beach town, rambling incessantly or tripping in my heels. I believe that the happiest girls are the prettiest, and I am on a quest to one day be a full time stay at home momma!

Oh my goodness, I love it!!! And lucky you about Farm Chicks... I so hope to join you girls there next year!!

You sure as heck DID show that pool man who's boss! So there.

I get such a kick out of you.
I'll bet you write exactly like you talk, which means that you and I would get along like a house on fire.

You know that desk in my cubby hole post?
$7.50.
As in seven dollars and fifty cents.
Boo yah!

XOXO,
Anne

You rock the talent style!!! The dresser is fab, great job.

Hugs to you
Kate

For only $15.00..amazing! I love it when something old is given a new life! It looks great, how nice that the pool man can do dressers too! Come say hi :D

I love your dresser. I have a couple that I am going to do turqouise. I also love the darker top. Please come by and visit me and my shop if you have time. I am in Spokane as well and would love to meet you!!

Leslie

It looks so beautiful! Go to Hobby Lobby for total Anthro knock off knobs for almost nothing . Call me if you don't have one and I will pick some up for you!!

Me again.

You know what?

I just spent the past couple of hours reading through your old posts, all the stuff I missed because, inexplicably, I hadn't discovered you yet. I know, inconceivable!

I just had to come back to tell you how impressed I am with you as a writer, a mother, a photographer, and human being. I think you're pretty cool beans. :-)

Tara, what dresser is such a great find and you did an awesome job! What color gel stain was that? I can't wait to do some FC shopping and see what goodies we find!!!!

love, love, love.
will now be thrifting in a whole new way!
~Tara

Good job girl! Anthro will put those babies on sale so watch for them.
I will see you at The Farm Chick Show. I will be the old lady saying hello.
Have a great weekend!

totally perfect.
that so belongs in home.
you know that , don't you ? :)

oh how I looooove that dresser....you are right:) and turquoise!!! I painted a dresser turquoise and did a mix and match of handles too a bit ago...but I love that the top is stained and of course it's perfect!!! $15 dresser? Even more perfect!

oh my goodness, i absolutely love it! i am also loving the stained top! i have my dinner table like that and i honestly love it! gives me the option to still paint it later, yet i can enjoy it for now!
xoxo

OH my goodness the style of the dresser is just darling... the color is PERFECT and the stained top... I WANT :) I want that stain on my kitchen table.... is it easy? I haven't stained anything but my concrete floor and it's rather splotchy in areas... but wow want that dark top.
I'm giggling over your hardware cause guess what?.... 4 of them are being delivered today {giggles} hey if this girl can't make it to Farm Chicks than i needed those pulls.
Have a fabulous day...and tell the pool man great job on fixing the drawers for his sweetie!!
xo,
LuLu

Fab dress makeover, Tara! It looks SO good. Love that you painted it turquoise - you're definitely the decorating boss!

You did a fabulous job on it - love the color, the top and even the handles! I just love when my husband gives me that, "you're going to do what with that" look everytime the paint brush comes out!
Really, the dresser is so charming and because I love everything in your home, I'm sure it will look great wherever you put her ~ Have a great day!
Sarah

She is lovely! And so are YOU! Love the color, and love that you kept the wood top! Becky

Hey Tara,

Great find and great job on the dresser! Too cute and I love the price of course. I am looking for a special, just for me dresser to use as a bed side table/extra clothing storage. In my thifting adventures I find lots of dressers, but I'm looking for one that is just right (oozing with character). Anyway, can't wait to see you at Farm Chicks. Stop by and say hi to me and Isabel at our "Tickled Pink" booth.

XO,

Lisa

Super duper sweet dresser. Love it dearly.

Oh she is pretty! Great buy... if you need to EVER get rid of her, I will come take her off your hands :)

Awesome job Tara!!
I love the color.
Could you please tell us the color and brand of gel stain.
Thanks,
Rosemary

Seriously, I never would have imagined it coming out like that! It looks fantastic and I think that what really made the look was keeping the top the newly stained wood color. It keeps it balanced and vintage looking... and I really love the mismatched drawer pulls.

By the way, I love mine! I had previously been looking at Anthro ones also. If I win the lottery I'll by us all anthro knobs :)

A D O R A B L E!!!!!

Mikal
