I never thought of myself as a collector, but lately I found myself collecting these:
I don't know what it is about these beauties, but I just can't resist them. When I am out shopping and I see one, it takes everything in me not to buy just 1 more vin~tage suitcase!
What can it hurt, right?
Honestly....I don't have any room in my cottage for just 1 more suitcase...
So, the other day when my girlfriend mentioned she had some old suitcases in her garage that she didn't want anymore....
she must have felt the excitement I was trying to hide because,
she proceeded to ask me if I wanted them.....
What do you think I told her?
Oh, the suspense... I know it will just kill you.

Ooooh! Collecting is a dangerous addiction, lol! As a crafter I collect fabric, ribbons and trims, buttons, papers, embellishments and more. But I also collect Fire King, vintage cream and sugars, aprons (vintage and new), vintage kitchen linens, Betty Neels books, fabric tote bags, cookbooks and so much more! Great topic! Becky

You're asking Mlle Magpie what she collects?!! I collect many, many things, including vintage suitcases. I have a thing for them too :) Like Becky there, I have a fabric collection, also some birdcages, milkglass, crinolines,...oh the list just goes on. But lately, I've really been having a thing for vintage prom dresses!

Gadgets! I love gadgets. I got gadgets that I don't even know how to use. They fill almost every drawer in the house. Especially kitchen gadgets. My husband always complains about the gadgets, but he has sheepishly used them a time or two. Also cookbooks and copper

I have a small collection of vintage wedding cake toppers and that is really it as far as collections. The suitcase thing is really cute. I had some in my basement that I wasnt using and they were ruined when we got 2 inches of water! :( Have a great day!

Love old suitcases! I have a few myself!
I collect matte cream pottery,old " destroyed" kids shoes,old wood finials,old statues,pretty white linens......so much!!!!
It's so nice to be surrounded by old pretty stuff!!!!

old suitcases are exactly what is on my shopping list today...no kidding....i even have a coupon to the local antique store that i'm hoping to use...oh, i do hope that i find some.

I have collections...galore. I collect:
- dinner & dessert plates
- cake pedestal plates
- cloches/domes
- pitchers
- linens (table cloths, cloth napkins)
- bar glasses (wine, champagne, etc)
- serving platters
- pink depression glass
It is SO fun collecting, isn't it? I love it!
